Camping is great. Having the right camping gear makes it even better. Some people prefer the minimalistic style of camping and have only the basic necessities - shelter, food, and clothing. Others go all out and have the latest in camping gear including multiple room tents, camp kitchens, showers, and so on. Regardless of which style of camping you prefer it's important to make sure to have the camping supplies and gear that you are comfortable having. If you don't take everything you want you could end up having a less exciting camping trip.
Making sure you have quality camping gear is just as important as making sure you have the right gear. Don't fall into the trap of buying cheap gear in hopes that it will save a buck or two. Often times you end up throwing the cheap camping gear away because it ripped, fell apart, or broke. Nothing is worse that having to do without just because you tried to skimp on quality.
