The Katadyn Siphon Microfilter turns any water container into a wate filter using gravity. Simply place the filter element inside w water container and then syphon the filtered water through te pipe into another container that you placed lower down. It will filter up to 1.2 gallons an hour. The silver-impregnated ceramic element can easily be cleaned and will filter 5000 gallons of water. The Syphon can also be used as replacement part for the Katadyn Camp system. This filter is quite small and portable so it's ideal for longer trips to places where clean water is not always readily available.
